Radiology Imaging Services

Radiology Imaging Services at Piedmont Fayette Hospital are accredited by the American College of Radiology in CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.

The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.

Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Radiology Department

Our radiology staff provides routine x-rays, fluoroscopy, MRI, CT Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, and Ultrasound procedures 24 hours per day with either onsite or on call personnel.  Routine x-ray exams do not require advanced scheduling.

Women’s Imaging Center

Our staff offers digital mammography; routine screening mammograms and diagnostic breast imaging, breast biopsy services, breast ultrasound, and bone density testing, in a professional and inviting environment.  Our Women’s Imaging Center also offers a Breast Cancer support group, called The Breast Cancer Survivors’ Network – Piedmont Fayette Hospital Women’s Imaging Center Support Group.

Outpatient Diagnostic Center

The Outpatient Diagnostic Center provides Diagnostic Radiology services and CT in a professional and convenient setting.
