At Piedmont Fayette Hospital we've made a promise...to make you well and keep you well.
Due to concerns around the seasonal and H1N1 influenza, Piedmont hospitals, along with many other providers across the country, are taking measures to protect our patients, staff and visitors. People of all ages can actually be infected and spread the virus before any symptoms develop. Please support the following guidelines to help us protect the safety of all persons who enter our facility.
General Visitation Restrictions
- Visitors with any type of flu like symptoms, unless seeking treatment, should not be in our facility.
- Visitors should be limited to spouse/significant other, parent/adult children OR direct care giver responsible for care.
- Visitors may be asked to wear a mask or other protective equipment.
Maternity Center Restrictions
The Maternity Center physicians and clinical staff caring for your mom-to-be or new mom and baby made the following guidelines:
- Visitors are limited to father of the baby OR support person and grandparents for laboring and post-partum women.
- In the case of infants - parents and grandparents only.
- Visitors with any type of flu like symptoms, unless seeking treatment, should not be in our facility.
- Tours limited to only expectant mother and father of the baby/support person.
